Shipping career is one of the most luxurious and highly paid profession. You will enjoy some facilities which other can dream only. In a certain period of job time one can earn a handsome amount of money. Throughout  your career you will be able to visit many countries and you will be in touch of various nationality various culture and tradition. But at one certain point  every mariner want a safe exit and secure future life. In this point they often become frustrated what to do after leaving sea career. This our today’s topics of discussion. Some mariner’s always finds way to leave shipping career at a certain age and they prefer to settle at shore job or business. But let me tell you one thing as long as  you are in shipping job you are in a comfort zone once you decide to switch your profession to other job or business you have to go through a unpredictable path. After quitting  sea life Mariners can join in various shore based farm such as:-

·         Ship surveyor, cargo surveyor ,draft surveyor.

·         Shipping agent, cargo broker, Ship broker.

·         Ship charterer ,or joining in ship chartering farm.

·         Port state control employee.

·          Can Attend civil services exam and join government job.

·         Attain MBA  degree and join as executive officer in any shipping or civil company
