RMS TITANIC : A MYSTERY TILL NOW !

perhaps the best known maritime tragedy of all time.The RMS TITANIC was a passenger ship that sank in the north atlantic ocean on April 15,1912,after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from southampton,UK to New York City,Us.This pathetic disaster caused the deaths of  1,514 people.The provable reason of this accident is the most talked about issue so far!So what could be the actual reason for the sinking of so called "UNSINKABLE" TITANIC???

Following reasons are considered to be the main factors behind that accident:

• Climate caused more icebergs which increased the possibility of collision.
• Tides  sent iceberg southward that also influenced the collision chance  with iceberg.
• The ship was running too fast (22 kts/24 kts).
• Iceberg warnings went unheeded.
• The binoculars for the watch were locked up.
• The helmsman took a wrong turn.
• Reverse thrust reduced the ship's maneuverability.
• The iron rivets were weak.

There were very few lifeboats against demand.
